General Laborer


General Laborer Positions for All Shifts

Wausau Tile is looking for General Laborers.  Openings on first, second and third shift. 40 hours per week, with some weekend hours.  The position requires the ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for long periods of time.  Attention to detail and the ability to work well with others is a must.  Individuals must be 18 years or older.

Available positions in the grinding, polishing, finishing department, and general machine clean up.  All positions are full-time positions with full vacation, retirement, and health insurance benefit package.

CNC Machine Operator 2nd Shift


Wausau Tile has an opening for a CNC Machine Operator.  We are looking for a hardworking, energetic, quality and safety minded person.  This person must be able to work well with others and individually with little or no supervision.  Interested candidates must be able to read and understand a variety of production paperwork including schedules, blue prints, spec sheets and use measuring equipment/hand tools.  Candidate would be mechanically inclined and able to operate equipment and machinery as necessary.

Employee would program and operate a computerized, 4-axis Hot Wire Cutting Machine and a 5-Axis Router to cut Styrofoam patterns later used in our mold making process.  In addition, individual would also perform necessary support functions including sanding, shaping, epoxy coating, etc. to provide an accurate pattern for the product.

Employee would be familiar with the operation of a CNC Machine, including:

  • Strong Math and Communications
  • Programming by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches, calculating requirements including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry, proving part programs.
  • Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, cutting—including turning and facing
  • Accepts ownership for new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

WAUSAU TILE MAINTENANCE POSITIONS

Maintenance  –  Maintenance Technician.  Wausau Tile, Inc. has a first shift, weekend maintenance opening for an individual with experience and education in the electrical/mechanical field.  Responsibilities include trouble shooting and repairing machines and equipment as well as preventative maintenance work.  A strong electrical background is preferred.  We are looking for a hardworking, energetic person with a strong maintenance background.  Attention to detail and the ability to work well with others is a must. The position is full time with a full benefit package available.

Schedule:  Work 36 hours per week, paid for 40 hours

  • Friday, Saturday, & Sunday (5:00am to 5:00pm)
  • Includes weekend shift premium pay incentive.

Accounting Manager


Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports. The position is responsible also for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities.  Additionally, will construct and monitor those cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
  • Establishes and maintains cash controls and reconciling of general ledgers and bank statements.
  • Works closely with management in the preparation of the annual budget and annual audit.
  • Reconciles payable accounts, receivable accounts and preparing journal summaries.
  • Ensures compliance with the financial procedures of the organization.
  • Conducts ongoing process constraint analyses.
  • Reports on breakeven points by products.
  • Reports on margins by product.
  • Reports on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances.
  • Analyzes capital budgeting requests.
  • Performs cost accumulation tasks as a member of the target costing group.
  • Adheres to and implements the financial procedures and policies established by management.
  • Monitors data entry systems and procedures.
  • Verifies charges and ensures security of all credit card expenses.
  • Maintains financial files and records, according to established procedures.
  • Maintains records pertaining to the financial systems.
  • Issues, coding and authorizing purchase orders.
  • Assists with tax compliance as needed.
  • Compiles source documents.
  • Reconciles source deposits.

Qualifications and Skills:
Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years of Accounting Experience
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting software, financial software, and management systems.
  • Knowledge of verifying and interpreting financial data and records.
  • Excellent communication skills.
